The object of study of the discipline is general philology as a set of humanities that study the spiritual culture of mankind through linguistic and linguistic-stylistic analysis of written texts.
The subject of the course is the properties of philology as an accumulator of human thought about the development of material and spiritual cultures and, consequently, as a means of knowledge and awareness of culture in connection with the development of society.
